I would probably split my shopping between the deal available at both stores to maximize savings. They also had some good prices on meat like the 5lb bag of chicken thighs. Price Chopper had a lot of items especially their store brand on sale. To truly save money with these two stores, I would rely heavily on their weekly sales ad. This was $13.06 (about 12%) cheaper than Price Chopper’s total of $104.82. Stop and Shop came out cheaper than Price Chopper with a total of $91.76. I though Stop & Shop was going to come out cheaper for every section, but the last 2 sections flipped. Is Stop and Shop or Price Chopper cheaper? This was $1.12 cheaper than Stop and Shop’s total of $13.08. In the dairy section, Price Chopper came out cheaper with a total of $11.96. These are all the dairy items needed like milk and cheeses. This was $0.10 cheaper than Stop & Shop at $3.68. In the frozen section, Price Chopper barely came out cheaper with a total of $3.58. These are the frozen items needed for this week’s meal plan.
